When is the first day I can file my taxes?

• You can drop your paperwork for your taxes as early as January 10, 2026, for the tax year 2025 tax returns. IRS will not accept returns prior to mid-January (no official date has been released).  It is best to be sure you have all the required forms before dropping off to save a trip.  We can figure your tax refund or tax obligation prior to the first filing date and have everything ready, so don't hesitate to get us your paperwork. 
• BEAT THE RUSH!  Upload documents or drop when you can to get processing started. 

How soon after filing will I have my check?

• The time frame varies depending on what service you decide to use. In most cases you will have your refund in as little as 7-21 days.  However, if you are eligible for EIC and ACTC there are longer periods.

How much do you charge?

• Check out our pricing under the Services tab under Tax Preparation Services or click here.  Each individual tax return can vary depending on the forms that are required but most returns filed electronically and prepared average $75.00-$150.00 total.  We have NO hidden fees that we deduct. 

What do I need to bring to my appointment or drop off?

• New customers will need to provide more information during brief initial visit or over the phone and then upload to portal.  This would include social security number, form of identity and dates of birth.  If you are a returning customer, I have most important information needed. Easy to upload to secure portal. Also, if you have had a child in the past year, please provide the social security number and date of birth of your child.  I will need any change of dependents in the household.  If you have a change of address, I will need that information.  You will bring or upload all pertinent forms you receive from employers, banks, and colleges.  If you are unsure of what to bring just give us a call.

Can I drop off my paperwork in the Secure Lock Box?

• Yes, anyone can drop off the paperwork, I will contact you prior to any paperwork being filed to the IRS. Please remember to leave a phone number with your paperwork and a check for the fees. When do I pay for the services?

• All services are paid in agreement by both parties.  Various payment options are available, so you don't have to have money up front.
